A plain-English guide to the EUDR, built to stay accurate.
EUDR Navigator is the free knowledge hub from Spureon, our EUDR-compliance software. It explains the EU Deforestation Regulation in plain English and gives you free tools to work through it, kept current as the rules move.

How we keep this accurate
This is a regulation that keeps changing, so accuracy is the whole job. Here's how we approach it.
Free guidance, and the software when you want it
We build Spureon, software that automates EUDR compliance, and EUDR Navigator is the free hub in front of it. We're upfront about that. What we won't do is bend the explanations: every factual claim here traces to an official source, not to whatever suits the product. Use the free tools for as long as they fit, and when doing it by hand stops scaling, Spureon is there.
Where our facts come from
Every factual claim traces back to an official source: the regulation itself on EUR-Lex, the European Commission's environment and Green Forum guidance, the EU's Access2Markets pages, and the TRACES Information System (the EU's official portal for filing a Due Diligence Statement). We link the source so you can check our work.
How we keep it current
Key pages carry a visible “Last updated” date and, where it helps, a short changelog. When something material changes, a deadline, a simplification, the country-risk list or a TRACES update, we revise the affected pages and send it to subscribers of The EUDR Brief.
When the rules aren't settled
Sometimes the law is genuinely in flux. A draft act proposed in 2026, for example, may change which products are covered, but it isn't law yet. When that's the case, we say so plainly and mark it, rather than guess. We'd rather tell you “this isn't decided” than sound more certain than the facts allow.
This is guidance, not legal advice
Who's behind it
EUDR Navigator is operated by Nukipa Labs GmbH, the team behind Spureon, our EUDR-compliance software. The Navigator is a free, editorial project, and it is not run by a regulator.
